For over 20 years, Dr. Ocheze Joseph has been a champion for kids. She is passionate about teaching and learning. During her years as an assistant principal, principal intern, elementary principal and university lecturer, she helps teachers and administrators understand best instructional practices as well as leadership practices to help every staff member and student maximize their fullest potential.

Dr. Joseph provides step-by-step mentoring and coaching on several topics. Our kids have the right to have an exemplary education with teachers who are equipped to see the whole child and identify their individual needs.

As a faculty member at Vanderbilt’s Teaching and Learning Department, Dr. Joseph is the site supervisor for the Master’s of Reading program , teaches the Pre-service teachers seminar course, the Master’s of Reading seminar course, and the Elementary and Master’s Responding & Recognizing Diverse Learners course.
